Local History Room
The Library’s Local History Room contains one table with seating for up to eight people and electrical outlets. The room, along with its collection, equipment, and furnishings, is intended primarily for local history research and related activities.
When available, the Local History Room may be reserved by individuals or small groups for educational, civic, and cultural purposes. However, because the room houses the Library’s Local History Collection, individuals conducting local history research must be permitted access to the room and its materials during reserved times. Groups or individuals using the room should expect that researchers may enter the space to consult materials from the Local History Collection.
All materials in the Local History Room are considered reference materials and may not be removed from the room or the building for any reason unless approved by library staff. Violation of this policy may result in loss of access to the Local History Room and Local History Collection.
Meeting Room, Georgetown Peabody Library

Booking Period: Between 1 hour and 4 hours
Meeting Room
The Georgetown Peabody Library's Meeting Room may accommodate up to eighty people for a wide variety of activities, lectures, audio-visual presentations, meetings and exhibits. There is a projector system available and a kitchenette.
