Hand-Sewing Basics: Holiday Ornaments!

Calling all hand-sewing beginners! Come learn the basics of hand-sewing while creating your very own holiday ornaments. This program is for anyone who wants to learn how to sew, ages 8-108.*
In this program, you will learn how to:
- Thread a needle
- Sew a button (optional)
- Sew a straight line ("running stitch" and "backstitch").
- Sew two pieces of fabric together and fill them with stuffing!
Registration required. Families are encouraged to sign up together!
*Please note that this is an ALL AGES program. Any adult should feel welcome to come and learn these sewing basics. Children 8+ welcome, but children 8-12 MUST have a parent or guardian supervising them. This craft involves sharp objects including needles, pins, and scissors, and this is not a children-only event. Please be aware of this when signing up!
